Our 5kg washed low EC coco husk chip blocks are manufactured using 100% natural, premium-grade coconut husks that are cut into uniform chips and thoroughly sieved to eliminate fine dust and impurities. To guarantee safe usage for sensitive plant root systems, the chips undergo an extensive freshwater washing process that effectively flushes out excess sodium and potassium salts, resulting in a low Electrical Conductivity (EC) level and a stable, plant-friendly pH. Once washed, the husk chips are sun-dried under controlled conditions and hydraulically compressed into convenient 5kg blocks, delivering high expansion capacity, superior aeration, and long-lasting structural integrity for commercial horticulturists and growers.
