In 2010, we started our BERRI coir substrate products manufacturing factory in Coimbatore area, Tamil Nadu, South India. We manufacture coco fiber, coco peat and coconut husk chips by the matures coconut husk processing . We cleanse the coconut fiber peat to remove unwanted salts and impurities by multiple washing. We then dry it in a concrete yard, pass it through a sieve, grade it, and store it. Cocopeat is mixed with coconut husk chips and compressed into various forms, including blocks, grow bags/planks, briquettes and bricks. Cocopeat is exported under the brand name BERRI Coco Coir Substrate.
